Cam should’ve immediately had his number retired and his bust in Canton carved out after leading that 2015 garbage looking offense with Philly Brown, Jerricho Cotchery, Ted Ginn, and the two Mikes who couldn’t pass protect worth a damn to a 15-1 and Super Bowl. Honor him at the Kennedy Center.

Followed by “He wore a hoodie to the postgame press conference and wasn’t eager to answer a bunch of dumb questions after the biggest loss of his career!”

“He didn’t dive for a fumble in the Super Bowl!”

You’re right. They should have moved him to WR.

Cam Newton does not play football the white-er I mean right-way

You left off 4,800 rushing yards, 58 rushing TDs, and more clutch First Downs than you can count, but hey, every QB in the league can do that, right?

I heard some talking head on the radio the other day (discussion Antonio Brown) say it best:  just say you don’t like the guy.  Don’t say he sucks.  Don’t say he’s overrated or selfish.  Just say you don’t like him.

He was a devout Catholic, after all. He definitely had lots and lots of practice not giving a fuck about child rape.

That’s not true. He told them to make sure Jerry wouldn’t bring them on campus.

It’s incredible that despite Gladwell being such a lightweight, Simmons always sounds completely, intellectually overmatched.

I live in PA with a bunch of Penn State alums and I was absolutely shocked that they thought people were too harsh on Paterno and co. I was out with dinner with a few right after it happened and they were tying themselves in knots to cast the program as blameless. I asked them if they saw a kid getting raped at work

As somebody who grew up in Pennsylvania, here is what I have heard about Joe Paterno for 40 years.

I feel the leadership of Penn State was totally, outrageously attacked over this. I think they’re blameless.

A wiser man than I summed him up best- Gladwell writes books for people who don’t read books.

He’ll address those inconsistencies in his upcoming book, Not Only Just the Tip-ping Point

Gladwell has made an absolute killing by writing “Maybe just trust your gut” to boomers who just wanted confirmation bias that everything they think is right anyway.

Also, you don’t need a PhD to understand child rape/molestation. Paterno was a force and an institution at Penn State. He didn’t do that by being a kindly

Simmons: Right.

Joe Paterno knew in the 70s that Sandusky was raping kids. Forty goddamned years as an assistant to JoePa with Joe knowing that this guy was raping kids and he did nothing.

In Gladwell’s defense, the Penn State coaching staff and administration probably spent more than 10,000 hours raping children and ignoring it, so he’d have to reject the entire premise of one of his own books if he didn’t recognize their expertise in the field.

Dear Max -- it’s true that we can’t expect leaders to know everything. But I think we can expect even the dumbest leader to call the cops when it comes to child rape.
