Probably worth mentioning that the 900 series won the World Rally Championship in 1981 when fitted to the Sunbeam Lotus.

Being a Hillman Imp fanboy, it has to be the Bevan Imp. When Chrysler took over the Rootes Group,they made Rootes withdraw from motorsport, so George Bevan decided to go it alone. He bought a Sunbeam Imp Sport, put Bill McGovern in it, and went racing. Operating on a shoestring, that car won the British Touring Car…
