When you say “racing,” do you mean like, actual racing with cars or motorcycles such as Formula 1,NASCAR, and MotoGP?

I think you have to follow AC Club. I’m not sure though since I linked my old AV Club account when they moved over.
Mother! was trash, lol.
Completely agree. What makes it worse, is Capcom is providing modes and resources in this game to teach people the differences. You can learn about the history of the franchise all in one game. People complain about fighting game elitism, but the arrogance to not know anything about a series, and then completely…
I think people generally use them wrong. They shouldn’t be gospel as far as how good a character is. They should just be alerting you in a vague sense, that there might be an aspect of your character that you’re going to need to pay specific attention to. They tell you almost nothing if you think about it.
For me I think the value in Tier lists is not whether or not they accurately tell me if a character is good or bad. The value is as a supplemental resource for learning character matchups. When you look at them by themselves they tell you almost nothing. You find out character A is “S Tier,” but why? Character B is…
You’d be able to tell the difference between hyper fighting and super turbo if you simply played the game. That’s my point, a casual player will just fire up that version and see what it was about. You can’t even be a filthy casual correctly. HYPER FIGHTING DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE FULL ROSTER STREET FIGHTER TWO WOULD COME…
I’m hype for this, but I’m worried about the netcode. If this collection was using GGPO it would basically be what those who were relying on fightcade on PC have always been looking for, an Arcade perfect port will only be valuable as far as local play, if the online play is laggy. There needs to be an option to set…
Showing how little you know about the series.
Slow paced? Yeah you don’t k is what you’re talking about. Late 90’s was the golden age of fighting games and if yo think SF3 or the Alpha series was slow you should look at them in comparison to games today. You were just really bad af them and that’s okay. SF3 series is one of the best animated and most robust…
Few years ago. He got the hair plugs. It looked weird as hell at first.
Marvel was catfished by their newly appointed EIC, and they still trusted him enough with one of the most important jobs in the company? LMFAO
*smacks forehead*
But...but Rivers is a coach’s son, gritty, and a real hustler on the floor???? How could this have resulted in something bad??? White people what is the secret to this formula? It should be bulletproof!
I think for me, it was initially the kung-fu film inspiration. Dragon ball was basically an homage to those films. When Dragon ball Z came out, and you learn about the genocide of the Saiyans, I def started to see similarities with the “story” of a lot Black men in America.
That’s a good argument. I can see how it’s more homage than parody/satire. Though I do think it sprinkles in a little of the latter.
I’m not misreading anything. It’s clear the John Wick creators love and adore genre/action films and it’s history. But they also recognize and embrace its wackier logic and elements. Poking fun at something doesn’t mean you don’t love it. Not all parody/satire is cynical in nature. The film is also very subtle about…
I don’t mind either way but creating a trend where people use their real name could be a huge step in changing how people interact with each other online, in games. Assuming the casual viewer followed the trend set by eSports using real names.
The issue seems to be that you think the word “ludicrous,” is inherently a bad thing. Sure, Maus isn’t ludicrous. But the majority of superhero comics are. And trying to strip away those absurd and far-out elements makes the stories worse. It’s about creating a world where the loud riots elements actually work.
Nah. Part of the appeal of John Wick is that it’s a parody of genre/action films. It’s a bit of a wink at the ridiculousness of those films. One of the main jokes is the body count itself. One man isn’t actually supposed to be able to do that.
