1. You talked about the First gen iPad, and it's OS. A joke right? Seriously?

There are positives and negatives for both sides. In general iOS works straight out of the box and is very simple to use. This is why the masses love iOS. While the more tech savvy like Android. I agree iPad mini is overpriced, and I don't really care. People are getting the ecosystem which you find on the full sized

My guess is you don't know how to read, considering I posted the website under my post. Secondly, that is my entire point. Hardware doesn't need to be bleeding edge like most Android devices seem to have. Android is an inefficient OS which doesn't know how to properly utilize their hardware. So you always get lower if

LOL ANANDTECH IS NOT REPUTABLE? What the hell are those sites you posted? Random as shit. Anandtech benchmarks featured on CNET/Engadget/Gizmodo/Wired/PCMag etc. It is one of the most reputable benchmarks websites in the world.

Excuse me? Who says the iPad can't open native Powerpoint files? There are literally thousands of apps out there which let you accomplish this. Hell, the app I am currently using almost identical to office on the iPad.

What are you talking about? First off, hardware is never the answer to getting better benchmarks etc. It's always the software, which Google and other Android manufacturers don't get. Apple almost always have lower specs in terms of hardware but always perform better than the ones that do have good hardware.

What? Wanna guess how many Android/iOS devices/blackberry/HP webOS tablets devices I have in my house?

Nice comment. Never seen it before. So original. You know what I see when I read comments like these?

Have you seen how many devs there are for iOS and Android? Devs actually PREFER iOS over any other platform, because not only do you get the large population of iOS users constantly playing/using their apps over Android but it's easier to code and make higher quality apps due to the superior SDK provided by Apple.

Your post was filled with so much bullshit, it gave me cancer.

Oh? Please tell me how much you are going to pay for your full blown win8 tablet? Because you obviously won't be getting that in the stripped down versions. Do you even know the differences in the releases or no? It's amusing everyone thinks, "hey guys, I just got a tablet with full windows 8 on it!"

I personally own a Galaxy Nexus as my main phone right now, the household contains an iPad, Toshiba Thrive, 2 Hp Touchpad's with Cm9 flashed (waiting for Cm10....), and own many iOS/Android/Blackberry/1 Lumia in the house as well.

It's cute to see fanboys say the iPad is bad. Guess they haven't seen the superior app store and how much of a powerhouse the iPad (and most iOS devices are) in terms of benchmarks. See the latest iPad 4 benchmarks? Made the Nexus 10 look like a baby. Surface is just useless, unless they come out with iPad-like tablet

I lost you at "I had a jailbroken 3GS." You can't expect me to believe you are comparing that ancient device with limited high end app support with some of the best Android devices out there, right?

They have sold enough tablets to drive consumer demand for top of the line apps for a long time now. Android phone apps are just fine, but tablets still need a lot of work which I just don't see improving, at least not for a long time now.

I believe I clearly said Android apps for TABLETS are lacking, not Android in general.

Why do you look at only mainstream apps? Any one with half a brain can tell that these apps will be updated regularly for both phone and tablet. Or games like Angry birds, Jetpack joyride, Asphalt, cup the rope, fruit ninja etc will be updated for all devices as well.

Again, you are looking at only mainstream apps. Those obviously do not count as they will obviously will be updated. I am well aware of Apps like Angry Birds, Asphalt, Cut the rope, Jetpack joyride, etc.

No. Apple took out the original youtube app which came with every iOS device. But they updated it on their App store, and Apple doesn't have control of that.

Yeah except has that really happened? No. Which is a very good idea of what I told you about before. The whole point I was trying to make is that even they are aware of the lacking tablet app market, and are trying to tell devs to make better tablet optimized applications. The android tablet market as been in the same
