Perhaps the support they give the devs? Offering a superior SDK kit to make some of the most excellent apps out there? What about the fact that most developers prefer iOS than Android? Please search it up because I'm not going to repeat everything. Again, you should stop with that 'fanboi' crap. I own many devices,

I never said there isn't a place for both. I simply claimed that you get the best experience out of the box on iOS devices, in this case, the iPad. The applications are better tablet optimized and more in quantity and quality overall. Android you do not get this. Also about you using 4.3.1, have you tried iOS 5. I've

It's funny you mention "tweaking." I have done everything from overclocking, flashing roms, kernals, theming etc on Android. I am well aware of how android works and how I can make it function to how I want. However, this is with "tweaking." Out of the box experience is EVERYTHING. Do you think the vast majority of

Uh what has changed exactly? Number of apps on Android market increased, so what? Does that mean quality did too? Is that a joke? Most developers prefer IOS, considering it is much harder to code for a platform which has to support thousands of devices. Therefore, it's less appealing for most devs on the IOS platform

I own a galaxy nexus..... I also own iOS devices which are jailbroken and I'm able to do A LOT more with them then on android where I have to rely on specific Rom's and kernals to get the job down, where as you just need an app and files to customize and do whatever you like on iOS.

I don't feel like arguing so all I will say is please read the other comments on my post by people who own these devices. You don't have to listen to me, and you have your own preferences, and that's fine. Remember this though, apps are what make the device. You might be content with whatever apps you are using on

Yeah, comments like mine usually piss off a lot of people. I just love tech, it's amusing to find these hardcore fanboys of both sides. In the tablet market, iPad just cannot be beaten. I've tried everything from Asus tablets to the Nexus 7 and none of them are smooth or offer the full tablet experience most people,

Cool story. I will stick to my high quality tablet optimized applications, you can stick to a vast majority of stretched out phone applications.

I have used a Nexus 7, and I have very aware of what is and is not available on it. Now I have absolutely no idea how your iPad 2 has gotten sluggish, because for me, all 3 android tablets have become sluggish despite constant reflashing/clearing data. 2 Of them I gave to my mom/brother, and I only really use the HP

That is true, but lets see how capable the final version of windows really is. I recently installed it on my laptop and used it for a month, although it was very smooth, there were still many problems I experienced. Granted, the final version should fix these problems.

Quality over quantity. Ever hear of that? Not only does IOS have the large quantity, majority is quality apps in comparison to Android. Top enterprises prefer it, and developers prefer it. Not sure what your point is.

Then I noticed that you didn't read those responses to my post, which were essentially the same thing, where I had to repeat most of what I said. Trolling? Really?

Wrong. The iOS is why the iPad excels, mainly due to the top quality tablet optimized applications available for it.

I have responded to many people who commented on my post, but free feel to check out the other comments, many from hardcore android users and nexus 7 users specifically.

I was simply stating that the kindle fire and nexus 7 won't have a chance. Many blind hardcore fans here claim iPad is a joke compared to their tablets, which is idiotic.

Okay, now tell me this. Why does any of this matter, if the OS doesn't have proper apps for the consumers? Majority of the so called tablet applications for android are just stretched out phone applications, offering the uttermost shit experience for the user. This is why the iPad excels. High quality tablet optimized

Excuse me, specs are not everything. Apple has proven that, time and time again. Have you seen the iPhone 5 benchmarks? Despite having inferior specs, it destroyed the competition in terms of speed, screen quality and battery life. Specs mean absolutely nothing, unless the OS is properly have to utilize it. Hell none

Although it is limited in some ways, jailbreaking, in my opinion, makes it much more open than any android device. After owning several android devices, the experience and apps on the iPad is just unmatched.

EXACTLY. Most of the arrogant hardcore fanboys aren't aware most of the so called "tablet apps" are mostly stretched out phone apps. The experience on android tablets is so low, it's sad.

I love it when people like you compare specs. Do you have any idea how limited you are on the Nexus 7? Smaller screen, less capacity choices, crappy Apps (most of which are stretched out phone apps). All of this combined = less user experience.
