Yeah, this is the one Audi that doesn't have to worry too much about understeer.... :)

Jeezus... could that blowoff valve be ANY louder?

Giving women rides in Audi Quattros isn't exactly new...

The guard wires on the right. You can see it's bumper in the wires. Those are VERY effective at slowing down a car. I've watched a car hit them at 55 MPH.

You also have better traction on the shoulder. I've put two of my wheels off the road in certain situations for grip.

I like how at the first stop the white pickup saw a big rig bearing down on him and got pretty far out of the lane, just in case.

Honestly, I think you hit the nail on the head. In the past, the cheap car challenges were ultimately about the cars, not the drivers or the stunts. In each challenge, the hosts would poke fun at the car's reliability, design flaws, or unique characteristics.

Let's just face it. It's not going to be like Season 9 to 12 anymore. It wasn't terrible, but when they do stuff like in the last bit with the police department, it's just plain boring.

While watching this, all I could keep thinking was "Is the new Chris Harris video up yet?"

Could have done with, oh I don't know, a CAR REVIEW? Some of the challenges they did, like the budget police cars for example, were admittedly too short. They went the complete other way with this one. It was basically a special, with an interview in the middle.

I'm a bit tired of the star in a reasonably priced car business or to give it the correct description the "supposedly famous person whose agent has some kind of in with the producers gets a chance to promote his/her latest film/series/tour".
I don't believe Hammond's hair for a moment.

Honestly, it's getting harder to watch TopGear's overly contrived buddy-buddy dialogue. It was a better show many seasons ago.

Silence, subject!

Problem is, mankind has shown constantly it will abuse this sort of thing to no end.

Why not just take this one step further and require a kill switch inside every human. If you're not doing anything wrong, you have nothing to fear from your masters-I-mean- government.

Unintended consequence: If you put kill switch technology into cars, the control system WILL be hacked. Do we really want to give those with bad intent the capability to remotely shut down every car built after a certain date?

Goodbye privacy. Privacy is dead. No more.

Not if they make it illegal to. (which is the whole point...)

Humm, I like the idea and do not like the idea. I like that thieves etc. can be stopped without harming anyone, however, I do not like to see a litle "black box" in my car. Do not get me wrong, I am(for the most part) a law abiding citizen. But after a while, will this not enable a "you drove 5kmph over the speed

Hell, I'm more worried about the finance companies getting this technology.
