All jeepers are delusional. That’s why they sell for this much. I can’t explain why but they are probably going to get their asking price.

No joke, back when I was in high school, I wrote a report about the USS Monitor vs CSS Virginia (ex-Merrimac) battle of the ironclads and called it Ferrous Duelers Face Off.
I used to browse deadspin :(
Still moves faster than the line at the DMV.
And he will win, let’s not kid ourselves.
Exactly. Beautifully done. And underneath you still have a 150 thousand mile, four cylinder truck from a decade ago.
Yep! I was going to say flood-damaged, but even if it’s on the up-and-up, if the owner had bothered cleaning the damn thing, it would be worth $6k, at best.
That’s the problem, you can get a bigger, more capable truck for the same money. There were plenty of Gladiators at the local Jeep dealership for well into the $50k range. That’s 3/4 ton truck money. I love the idea of a Wrangler pickup priced to compete with midsize offerings, not so much priced against 1/2 to 3/4…
Trust me, as I’ve done this before: get drunk, wreck the car, then tell the cops it was stolen. I guarantee once this doofus faces questioning from the HP, he’ll crack under the pressure and admit that he was drinking and driving.
Short a tension span, then?
Shutting down the only dedicated politics website in your portfolio right before the 2020 election, one of the most consequential of our lifetime, kicks into high gear. Essentially shutting down the second-most highly trafficked website in your portfolio because one out of every twenty five posts rankles you. I’m not…
The actual story of the Battle of Midway is absolutely tailor-made for a Hollywood movie - or even a short-run miniseries, to be honest, given all of the twists and turns of the story.
$5,250 for this rolling version of Dr. Frankenstein’s monster? Can’t you get a new unsold 2018 Mitsu for that price, if you are so inclined? This is a perfect example of a seller saying “I know what I’ve got here and I know what it’s worth” and being totally wrong. Run, don’t walk, from this horror show. CP
I gave you a star, but then took it away. The vessel does not defy gravity in any way whatsoever. It works fully within the bounds of gravity, just as a ship floating on the water does.
Hot take: I really, really like this show.
Fair enough and to each their own--I love it. It’s not particularly subtle, but I like both the contrast it has with more subtle allusions in the show and how it complements the comic tone.
Exactly this. Proper engineering of the product, proper engineering of the manufacturing infrastructure, proper management of the whole system, proper management and relationship with the workers (non-adversarial). None of those have been strong suits for GM.
Execs love blaming the workers for everything and using…
the directed by brad bird credit at the end of the white whale presentation was my biggest laugh of the season so far, tbh.
Time to post this up again:
