I have worked in many call centers. Worked for iOS technical support, AT&T Wireless Tech support, DirecTV tech support, and AT&T U-Verse. My girlfriend has worked in the same number of call centers, but not any of the same ones that I’ve worked at.

I should have elaborated more on the hypothetical scenario. I mentioned that it sounded like a ticking time bomb because it may only takes a few negative in person interactions for that person to become racist.
It’s the “most punch-able face” tournament, not shittiest person I want to punch in the face. I don’t know man, personally, that smug look puts him in a whole new level of punch-able face.
While I agree that people have free will and can choose not to act with prejudice, there is merit to their argument.
I’m not educated enough on the issue to defend either strategy (attempting to change the abuser versus giving up on the abuser’s capacity for change). You made some interesting points though. A focus on personal and community growth could improves things quite a bit.
