It's an Alpha, if people buy this not knowing what alpha means they have only themselves to blame for not doing research of software terms.
People will still buy it then flood the forums complaining about how this unfinished game is unfinished and how there are bugs and how the Alpha is an Alpha and should have been comepleted.
DA2 pissed me because I paid $60 for the first one and got hundreds of hours of stuff.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they should get a real job but they should at least have a contingency plan. The nature of this business is a fickle one. Of course this applies to everything in life.
The risk is higher here. Especially on the internet. Things change in an instant.
I wish developers weren't so stingy with their games.
