Yeah, that’s the real issue which has kept NK afloat all these years. It would take a MASSIVE undertaking to turn that country into a productive member of the world community.

in a perfect world, your ideas are sound; however, citing the league of nations and other similar united nations decisions, I am afraid no new leaders on the horizon will be able to resolve the crisis happening in the middle east; this has been thousand plus years in the making

I have to say... the UN has not shown strong leadership in a very long time. I seriously doubt they ever will. The security council veto keeps them from ever really doing anything at all where any of the big 5 are involved.
