The problem is the super-linear gameplay you just go straight forward and attack basically the same enemy and when you die you need to start all over again which is very hectic because the checkpoints are like miles away.

I did this, too and I don't see why are people upset. It's just a game. Making black humor jokes with my friend never has been this fun.
