The problem is the super-linear gameplay you just go straight forward and attack basically the same enemy and when you die you need to start all over again which is very hectic because the checkpoints are like miles away.

I did this, too and I don't see why are people upset. It's just a game. Making black humor jokes with my friend never has been this fun. I respect every human being equally but stereotypes and prejudice is a big humor factor. Why not exploit it and get a few laughs out of it, if it doesn't hurt anybody.
I loved the game after Sonic adventures DX. I couldn't wait for the next 3d sonic game for PC. I played it till the end and enjoyed every moment of it. I don't know why people hated it...
