The second example is not a bug, it’s a game mechanic that didn’t fit the type of game it is.

I’m going to straight up admit I can’t come up with a good response at this moment, but I’ll say your reasoning’s fine and would put the discussion forward quite well if I did put it forward :P.
Maybe not, actually. But follow up:
I agree, MMO’s have been stale for ages.
Well, the game’s almost 4 years old so I wouldn’t exactly call it a 2016 failure.
There are fair ways to have trial and error elements like you describe. Wings of Vi for example does trial and error really well.
Because if something gets really succesful tons of people will try to cash in on it’s success, and tons will be heavily inspired by it. This has been happening for ages, and even lesser known things get cloned all the time. This has been said many times but “Doom clones” eventually became “First Person shooters”.…
I just personally don’t get it. Never in my life have I thought ‘’Hmm, I’d like this Zelda game more of Link was Black like me’’, not as kid, not now. But I guess some people have.

He still got it in him, that was pretty god damn fun.
Crushes fun? I hate that feeling so much.
I haven’t played Fallout much so I can’t comment on that.
For let’s plays anf other low effort content it’s appropiate but it can also happen to stuff tons of time and effort is put into that fall into fair use and are pretty much their own thing instead of just unedited footage of someone elses game but with audio over it.
As it’s made by the same aaa company that did all the originl games, that honestly sounds like a silly decision.
What is this, the Paranoia Agent of video games?
Still no slopes, though.
