If I’m going for a physical console, why would I get an emulated one? As much as I love emu’s existance as an option, Fuck inaccuracies and input lag. I’ll always go for the original if I can.

To me, a lot of the game design decisions seem to contradict eachother, It’s like the game doesn’t know what kind of platformer it wants to be. I used to love sonic, bit after replaying it recently..not my thing.

I don’t think he wants an objective review. I think he just wants as much objectivity as he can. So that for example even if he personally doesn’t like a game, he can still think it’s well made and good for the niche it’s actually made for. Quality does not always equal enjoyment.

I'm not a big fan of Dark Souls, but I did like this game's demo. Imo, it's nothing like Dark Souls besides the fact that you have a dodge roll and that it's difficult. It's fun, and I've been looking for a boss rush game for quite some time :P

If you really like the core game, you don't need any bells and whistles to keep you busy. You keep coming back for that core experience. Think of Quake or Unreal Tournament. No unlocks at all, yet I still love playing those games. If you are eventually playing for trading, you're not really much of a fan of the core…

Not to be confused woth Team Fortress Classic 2, a mod that tried bringing TFC elements back to TF2.

The least they could do is revert the quickplay change. The good community servers have been dying because of it, which is a huge problem.
