I made the ‘mistake’ of buying an AMD 8 core CPU and 3GB GPU, so i’m waiting for the patches. There is a way to reset progress on liberations?

What’s funny is that this would have likely been planned DLC for later, looking back at JC2 and the Air Propulsion gun. If we had paid mods the marketing would have to be pretty good to try and sell the same content.

The least these companies could do is make that a peelable scratch-n-sniff to let us know how full of shit they are. You could put them up on the wall, or mark your calendar for when the lastest horse armor comes out.

*Only putting the giant Pre-Release disclaimer on negative reviews.

Putting timestamps and version number automatically would be enough. Its not that hard to find a solution, even weirder it hasn’t been done yet.

Just before you sign on-board with this, notice they only give the PRE-RELEASE tagline to the negative reviews, when on the same day, a positive review comes out and is NOT tagged with that headline. Its a form of censorship and trying to avert gaze away from negative PR. Whoever is moderating these reviews is doing

Posted Oct 28, gets PRE-RELEASE REVIEW where there positive review on Oct 28 did not recieve the same treatment. This is censorship.

Posted Oct 28. This is a POSITIVE REVIEW that DID NOT get the censorship label the NEGATIVE REVIEWs now have. See where this is headed? You have a critical opinion? Censored. Its censorship. Wtf, pay attention everyone.

Thats called early access. Any attempt to censor a user opinion after an update is TERRIBLE anti-consumer practice. “We get you had an opinion, but that was before an update that we addressed a bug and labeled it a major update. You’re opinion is no longer valid. We have labeled your opinion Pre-update and will be

You’re right, this is uncharted territory that will easily be exploitable by anyone who has ever released a patch for a game - no matter its reception. The game is not a re-release or a different product, its just version 1.01. I can see publishers or developers shifting toward early access title structure all the

Given the choice of bonus or no bonus, most people might pick metacritic. Just saying.

Hidden number systems that affect a persons bonus is objectively worse than the scores themselves. Nice comment none the less, reminded me why I ditched programming for art. :P

Nice skyboxes for sure.

Metrics are the problem though. We both know if source A fails, they will use Source B to get their numbers. A different standard needs to be established and reviews will always be around. Might as well start at the source, which is review scores.

Yes, but we are typing here on Kotaku and their ‘scores’ are uncounted. Knowing how fucking annoying Kotaku was during Gamergate, I know they could push to influence other review sites. If all thats left are stragglers leaving scores while the big time sources push the other way then the system will change.

Don’t count me as part of the problem. Im for abolishing the metrics all together. All it does is deny bonuses and shuts down studios.

Yet the only way to stop publishers from screwing developers is to abandon the number system en mass. Kotaku, instead of being heard, simply gets ignored by the system, Yes vote or No.

The Yes/No votes don’t count towards the arbitrary scoring here I believe. It still has to become mainstream to correct all the publishers not giving bonuses because of a single point.

I see some reviews on OpenCritic with no scores, no yes/no, pure writing. Tis’ the way to undo developer metacritic bonuses and unfair treatment over one or two points causing entire studios to shut down.
