That's Fantasy Garage material!!!
Are we supposed to be afraid of the Joker?
@Euromobile: Back when they new how to make a record....
All I can think of when I see one of these is JFK.
Back when I played bass (high school era rock band) I would always remove the shitty PEAVEY emblems from all my gear. I ended up with a great sounding Buick LeSabre bass head running through non other than a Malibu Classic 8X10 Cab.
@Bento the Wertsmith: Haha, how true. Let's hope it lasts longer though! AKA lets hope Toyota isn't such a Bitch.
Murilee, You are Jalopnik.
@Kelly: Your right! That's extra creepy!
KAMMBACK! I'm in love.
@Dr.Danger: Nothing like an Lancia Delta Integrale! It's Top 5!
Haha, those were the golden days of Hollywood! If you wanted to make a slow car fast, you just under-crank the camera a little. That would look so bogus today!
My mint 745 turbo with <100K on the clock is pretty cool to me.
@rkwadd: How is this article an "important angle" in the "cult of cars"? Are you implying that KR and KITT are "important"? Like looking back in 5 years (scratch that) 5 months from now will it be considered "important"? Or will it just be a tiny blip of marketing PR and no real lasting contribution to our…
Down with Knight Rider! Please stop this incessant KR campaign. It's just a lousy Mustang for God Sakes!
@Mike the Dog: Yeah, I just couldn't imagine driving at speed with that wheel. As I remember the old kit had what appeared to be someone's idea of a futuristic joy stick wheel. Even at six years old i knew that was bullshit.
Does that steering wheel suck?
@A strolling player: You called it, it's not redundant on either side of the pond.
@TheTooth: I agree, a buyer considering this car would not be stopping by any of the Big Three's dealerships to see a <12K vehicle.
@Dr. Spaceman: That's a pretty standard redline for a diesel engine.
I looked into Grey Marketing this car early last year. I wanted it that bad.
