When I was 16 my I picked out a 1984.5 Toyota Celica Supra P-type. My father was an ex bodyman and went with me to check it out, we ended up buying it and bringing it home to fix the notorious 5m rod knock that killed it. I bought Haynes and Chilton manuals and joined the forums, learned a ton about cars in general

I love making challenges when driving, no cruise control keeping a set speed through hills, keeping a set distance (I was taught 1 car length for every 10mph), and minimizing brake use by looking further out and decelerating. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who loves driving and playing the game of traffic

And if there is a hill with a broke down car on the other end or a biker they could be killed because someone wanted to get to point b faster. If the shoulder was an actual driving lane I’d agree but the way it is now its a breakdown, emergency, parking zone.

He’s not wrong, if you need to pass that bad turn the hazards on and drive safe while passing. However the real problem is that the shoulder is not meant for passing, if you have a hill and someone is on the other side it could turn into a dangerous situation fast.

Is still GOing?

I see what you did there XD

That’s what I thought, been a while since I’ve seen one though. I remember a guy in Australia stuffing the v12 into a 2nd gen Supra with equal length headers he built himself. I’d love to have that engine but I imagine the century itself would be a dream to daily drive.

And that is?

More capable is highly debatable with this model, it set a damn good time at the ring.

But is it fancy enough?

Please tell us more

What did they do?

NSFW!!!

Aren’t we on jalopnik? Is this a car website or am I lost again?

Uhh... “Get real, kid”

That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day, here’s a star.

It’s a 40 mph zone, top picture shows the cone layout which seems to be about every 12 ft. Either they missed a cone or the driver hit one, I’m guessing the latter based on how many cones were actually set in the picture.

That location (48th and old Cheney) is a 40-45mph zone. Judging by the picture up top I’d say the cones were set and he knocked one over. The picture shows further ahead what the spacing should be and I’d be shocked if there wasn’t a cone where he dove in.

Or these

Pretty sure that’s a dart bro
