I have two ideas, first is a falling door or electronic lock that traps them (assuming enclosed porch, package has wire to activate and has big bold letters saying NOT MAIL) with a raspberry pi to notify. Second idea is porch cam and mailbox cam pointing down street both ways to catch plate #’s.
