I know this is an older post but I'm interested in version control for writers. Is there anything out there that can handle multiple file types easily? I've tried all these ways to do version control for writers. http://bit.ly/165Miip I don't think any of them are perfect. Any more ideas out there?

I think this thing has potential to be awesome, but I'm looking forward to a solid review of it, before I run off and buy it.

I use an extension called Context for similar purposes. It lets you group extensions that are useful for certain contexts, like shopping or reading. Then you can enable/disable them in a batch, depending on what you're doing at the moment.

you don't really need iBooks when you already have Amazon Kindle

spray some rainX on that bad boy and you're good to go!

This list is a bit old. I wonder: would it be worth revisiting this idea?

I guess if you pay the lump sum, then over time you'll start getting the full savings?

There's never as much love for the Xbox360 controller. Is it not bluetooth? How does it work?

I just did an exercise to collect all of my "buffer" material from a pile of notebooks like that, from e-mail, old Facebook posts, etc. Reviewing it, acting on some of it, and yes throwing some of it out proved to be a worthwhile experience for me. I wouldn't have benefited as much from deleting it all.

Plex or XBMC? Which to choose? Thoughts, anyone?

+1 for this bag. It'll hold two laptops and a tablet comfortably. It's very durable and I just love all the pockets. (one note about the straps on the top though. I had to reinforce mine with some crazy glue) I'm a fan of this one.

say "great". thanks.

Mine was more of a software question, really.

If you just don't want to see them at all you could tell adblocker to block all the .gifs, but that might be a bit of an extreme measure. there could be .gif files that you do want see, elsewhere.

It's been known to happen to us guys, too. This article serves a useful warning, though.

I'm interested in that arcade table, but I don't want to build a table. Is there a way to get the Raspberry Pi to connect to a TV and use an Xbox 360 controller? Is there a good front-end that supports MAME as well as other popular emulators (NES, SNES, etc.)?

You missed the circumstantial factors surrounding the suicide.

all of it. that's how much.

Any thoughts on how long this phase can tend to last?
