I just e-mail the confirmations and receipts to myself. From there i can put them in a folder, star them, tag them or whatever, to make them easy to quickly retrieve.

I use the delicious linkrolls feature all the time. Do any of these alternatives offer that feature? I'd love to import delicious bookmarks into something that would let me list them on my website.

Its called a will. Put instructions in your will for e-mails to go out. There, done.

Word already has a very minimal full-screen option. Two of them, if you count "reading mode". Why not just use that?

@tommertron: I agree. Google seems to come up with all sorts of inventive side projects, but they're rarely well connected to all the other stuff that Google does. Or in this case, they're oddly connected for some strange reason. It doesn't make sense.

Dropbox keeps a version of your file for you every time you save it. Might this be another easy way to achieve version control for writers?

re: the whole 60 seconds thing. Let's give it the benefit of the doubt and suppose that it DOES take a full 60 seconds, and there's absolutely no way that it does. So it takes 60 whole seconds to destroy the CD. That's not bad!
