excitable boy.

oh, i misunderstood. i thought they meant undemocratic as in mitigating the popular vote, as opposed to lowering voter turnout. i like the idea of a caucus being a forum for debate, though it practice everyone has their mind made up already, (which is why they’re went to the caucus in the first place), but yeah, i’m

the left is perpetually infighting, which is not a bad thing. the right is essentially about consolidating power in existing social structures. the left is an assortment of anyone who takes issue, for really any reason, with the consolidation of power, or with existing social structures.

it’s supposed to be, what, a good thing that the republicans are all begrudgingly falling in line with fucking trup? that’s a model to be emulated?

what’s wrong with caucuses?

it’s like how, for every u.s. citizen, the united states is their country.

and isn’t laughter supposed to be peculiar to man or some shit?

kind of off-topic, but that illustration is really nice.

i’m not sure what you’re saying with the one flew over the cuckoo’s nest reference.

shit, my hand’d get tired.

i pride myself on being as far away from busy as i can be at all times, but still, i’m too busy to jerk off for 150 minutes.

“all you nasty people... standing by a person that has so many physical health issues.”

i’ve had a few stretches without a job, and they were the sweetest. everything was better, we could do thing, participate fully with our kids lives, you know. the only downside was the money.

i mean, it’s just the *rational* choice is all.

Now playing

no, i think you’re totally right that having kids generally makes people much less happy. so then why do people do it? i’ll let slavoj zizek answer, because his accent is nice to listen to:

isn’t the most obvious way to sacrifice this election to nominate trump? though that doesn’t really demonstrate the rnc’s power.

everyone knows that except hopeless believers. he’s continuing to campaign to strengthen the case that his platform is an important part of the democratic party’s future. he’s already done a lot just by making socialism a non-pejorative.

if there’s no chance sanders will win then why does clinton need to divide her focus between him and rump?

i agree with you that the first thing is responding to people as they are and not how one might believe they ought to be. a lot of suffering is associated with being autistic. if the cause of that is entirely in how society responds to them, then the first thing is also the last thing.

thanks for that, it was really informative.
