is that a screenshot from the game? this is how i remember it:

right, i mean compared to f-zero.

a heroin addict has a problem with heroin. a gun nut doesn’t have a problem; it’s everyone around them that’s got a problem.

i don’t think you’ve ever seen wipeout described as dark and hideous to look at, either. it’s been a long time, but the way i remember wipeout was that it had a messy, cyberpunk look to it, like gritty and industrial. none of that’s bad; the game looked great, but, compared to f-zero, i think dark and rough are

there’s also one about the tea ceremony: when you start out learning the tea ceremony, a cup is a cup and tea is tea. when you’ve made some progress, the cup is no longer simply a cup and tea is no longer simply tea. then, when you’ve mastered the tea ceremony, a cup is a cup and tea is tea.

Now playing

there’s this which i googled right quick:

i genuinely laughed out loud at the gore quote. we have to go far quickly, which means we need to go alone together, and, individually, go together, alone.

yeah, i’ve seen some really cool demos of haptic technology, but anything like that in consumer electronics seems far-fetched.
