While I don't think that's a good Batman design, I think the design itself is fucking cool. I would love to have that as an endgame boss in a Final Fantasy game or a high-level armor in FFXIV.

I'm not exactly a pro or anything, but what I do when I make large buildings is start with the foundation then just build as I go along. Once I'm done with the interior, I just add stuff I think looks cool on the exterior. I'm guessing these guys probably do some actual, architectural planning. Or witchcraft.
