Michael K. Williams was replaced by Paul Bettany, due to a schedule conflict for the reshoots. Williams would have played an alien with some heavy make-up, not a human.

My bad, you’re right. Now, I remember the scenes from the original pilot as extras on the DVD.
“Charlie Got Molested” was actually written first. It was their pilot made for cheap that got them hired by FX. It was then reshot and it was set at the end of the season, so they wouldn’t shock the audience too much at the beginning.
That’s also a short view approach. There’s always be somebody (as some messages here show) who’ll argue that being white is a huge defining characteristic for Ciri. They’ll cast a white actress, then somebody will make the same claim for another major character, then another major character... until the non-white…
If it was an adaptation of the novels by Polish television for Polish audiences, with the story set in a country clearly called Poland, it would be fair to have a cast that reflects the ethnicities of Poland in medieval times.
Let’s treat the source material as a bible. And, also, let’s treat the Bible as a bible. The Bible is a series of books where laws have already been established, so we just need to conform to these laws, don’t we?
Have these fans read the books in the original Polish? They don’t complain about the show being in English.
The plot reminded me of something
There was a British TV show called “KYTV” in the nineties, a parody of early cable TVs, with a theme of the week. Despite the description, it had very little in common. In “Those Sexciting 60's”, they did a segment on a recently unearthed multitrack recording to “Paperback Writer”, introduced by “George Martin”,…
Also, don’t forget there was always on every album one or two tracks sung by Ringo. Autotune would have helped a lot...
You’re welcome. It’s always a pleasure to mansplain.
Her turn for Bryan Singer for X-Men: Apocalypse is still very disconcerting. Whoever thought it was a good idea to have her rumbling around Auschwitz in a spandex swimsuit should be expelled from the motion picture industry for life.
Mia Farrow actually supported Roman Polanski after the crime. She even flew to London in 2005 to testify in his favor in a trial against Vanity Fair. In her statement, she described him as “a loyal friend, important to me, a distinguished director, important to the motion picture industry, and a brave and brilliant…
I hope they’ll do a “Last Jedi” and promise a remake in which you can see Armstrong sticking the flag. The Confederate flag of course.
No, you’re just an idiot.
If you don’t know who Jerry Falwell is, just watch The People vs Larry Flynt.
You strike me as a judgemental asshole.
The opening is basically the season opener. We’ll see how it mirrors the season finale, that may be completed within two or three years.
Taika Waititi’s mother is Jewish. Until 2005, he was even credited as Taika Cohen. It may be difficult for the alt-right to claim that these are his personal beliefs.
May I allude to the fact that J.J. Abrams had almost nothing to do with Lost after he cast and directed the pilot? He may have spent two or three weeks of his life with this “old buddy” of his before giving him a part in Episode IX.
