I will agree with some of the lack of payoff. I was expecting (and hoping) for more differences to become apparent with the settlements and colonies. I wanted more of the people that I thawed out to start showing up on the planets, and more of the things I did to have a lasting effect.

“Sales have declined, even as Marvel has pushed out every major event and crossover it can over the past two years.”

I don’t think you can read much into what the Twitter account follows (it was a shame Mockingbird got cancelled, though)... they have almost 27k+ that they’re following (against 60k followers). Likely they just follow anyone who tweets at them.

I wonder about the strategy of taking the single worst part of your game and rolling it into its own stand-alone module...

No one will ever look back on Civil War II (or, the original) with any sort of fondness. I can’t see it becoming an engine for memes other than an example of how to suck and bore your audience for a year or so.

Given how awful and low-budget Enchantress ended up looking in the film... I’m pretty sure that concept art is what they were actually going for, they just forgot how to use color.

While Suicide Squad as a whole was a huge let down, Smith was one of the good things about it.

Given the target market of this game, and the multiplayer nature of it, focusing exclusively on consoles makes perfect sense. It sucks to be the market left out, but I cannot fault them at all for that business decision.

See, now I look Tuvix as Voyager’s double-down with the fans, going “see, it COULD be worse”

I hate this comment just because it’s going to make me defend Neelix. He was certainly an annoying, and frequently awful character (though you could level that one at all of the characters on Voyager at some point)... but not Jar Jar bad.

I vastly prefer the show to the movie. It was fun at the time, but also boring in more than a few places, and a bit overwrought when I go rewatch it. The show, on the other hand, took this idea that looked somewhat played out and made it so much more.

See, now putting Joker patches on the gear actually sounds like him. Sometimes it’s all about branding, and I could see someone like Nicholson’s joker do something like that.

To be fair, the abuse = love, and that just sick and wrong relationship between them, was about the only accurate part of the whole awful movie.

It actually does show up in the movie, and not even in a patronizing or awful (read, like when Snyder ‘pay’s homage’) way. She isn’t seen actually wearing it, however.

If his character wasn’t trying to be the Joker, he could have made a fairly serviceable villain. It’s more like if you took the Ramero Joker and stripped away all the charm and campiness, left the goofy look, and wrapped it around a 40-year-old hot topic reject.

Hard to watch legally? Guess I’m glad I bought a legit copy at Walmart a few years ago on DVD.

Oh, he murdered the shit out of him. And thus far, he’s remained dead, and people that hated Namor hate Hyperion even more now.

At last! This will fix all of the terrible writing and lousy stories they’ve got going on!

Have it on DVD, one I had to special order when the format was new. Still a cult favorite of mine.

So long as they are actual coffee beans, not sure I’d care. I love my coffee, but mostly I just want it to taste good and be the roast I like (medium). Never really cared to puzzle out the brand or flavor...
