See, what I don't get is why people are excited to see these movies when they miss out on all the cheese of the originals. The whole reason to watch Godzilla (or the even more entertaining and terrible Gamera movies) is because they were so bad, it was just over-the-top crazy. When they make them all serious and

I absolutely love that movie, so I can't call it one I hate, but I can absolutely agree with how horrible it is. But it's like a Galaxy Quest kind of "horrible" that spoofs the genre as much as it plays to it (though in the case of Demolition Man, it was unintentional a lot of the times).

Oh, and a new Star Trek must be Star Trek: Defiant, staring Worf.

Eh, I'm thinking start small and then start asking for bigger things. And while I love Firefly, I'm thinking it's time to let it go and live on elsewhere. Then revive it in another decade, ala Star Trek TOS... eventually leading us to Firefly 2: The Wrath of Wash

Want to get the goodwill of all the fans that have cut ties to SyFy (outside of the whole "we call it SyFy" thing)? That's easy. Produce a movie or miniseries to end Stargate Universe. That gets you back to space ships, making people happy, and fixing the biggest wrong committed since cancelling Eureka.

If this makes sure that they keep their grubby little hands of Flight of the Navigator, I'm okay with it. I have it on DVD to enjoy when the new one is just awful.

Still my favorite Star Trek ship ever. It's what keeps me going back to Star Trek Online every so often, and got me to spend money in F2P to have one with a proper Cloaking Device...

Yeah, Julian was the character that epitomized what made DS9 (or should we call it Star Trek: O'Brien's Daydream now) so amazing. It was unique for showing actual character growth and development, and giving them lasting ramifications for their choices. TNG was good at telling stories, but you couldn't see the impact

That may be the greatest fan theory I've ever heard. One would question why he hated himself so much in his own fantasy though...

The only knock I had on the story was that the Christmas part was an afterthought to the regeneration part of it, and that really ended up dragging the first part of it slowly to set up Trenzalore.

The funny thing about this episode is that while the episode itself is completely terrible... all of the merch that came from it is just wonderful. That poster is fantastic, as is Churchill as a character, and I love my little RC Ironside.

I was in 1st grade, standing in the doorway of our school library, which was just across the hall. I opted to watch the shuttle launch instead of going out for recess, because I was just crazy for NASA and the space shuttle. I won't ever forget seeing it, and the mixture of crying and not understanding that came to a

In a realistic world, Neptune and Uranus are both far, far overdue for some more in-depth exploration. All of our information about the two red-headed (okay, blue) stepchild planets comes from Voyager 2. We've studied Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury in depth during that same time. We need a couple of Cassini-style

Yeah, that was the comment I was going to come on here and make. These were supposed to be the greatest warriors in the entire galaxy, yet most had the skill and ability of a 16-year-old-kid working his first job at a fast food place and being unable to count out 16 cents in change.

Numerous times, especially in the new series. The Doctor cannot re-enter a timestream that he has already entered or crossed into, except for cheap parlor tricks (the first episode of Series 3, when Martha was introduced)
