What is going to be the real use case for autonomous cars? it’s kinda pointless for an individual to spend extra on an AI car just so that they can spend more time scrolling Instagram on the way to work. How many people would actually use that extra 20 minutes truly productively? AI Ubers? Still would need a network

Hyundai already had a major dealership building initiative not even 10 years ago. All the showrooms in my area got totally rebuilt. The one I worked had was so big we could fit 11 cars in the showroom. The problem started with the introduction of the Equus. Hyundai wanted the dealer to spend a huge amount of money on

Sorry to say, but there’s just really no way to make the SUV body style say “luxury.” No matter the price, they all just look like blobs. Ok, maybe not the Lambo Urus.

After spending the last 8 months wrapped up in a mask everywhere I go in CT, all I see in this video is 2 midwestern close talkers shouting at each other without masks

My barrier to entry for buying an EV is that my 100 amp panel is full, and I’d have to hire an electrician to upgrade that first.

So Tesla is foisting of a system on its idiot customers that is similar to every other manufacturer that still has professional safety drivers monitoring it at all times. What could go wrong?

I had a 2006 Atom for a couple years. A non-turbo K20 car. That 245hp was very much plenty. can’t imagine a turbo. Unfortunately my state did not look kindly on the Atom, so when my access to a dealer plate ended, so did my ownership of the Atom. By all means if you get the chance, drive one or ride in one.

Considering the info in the second question (that used pickups are priced very close to new), the first person might be able to trade out of the Gladiator with minimal loss. And get rid of the Miata and find a $10k family car you can pay $250/month on. 3 kids, expensive house, time to get rid of the single guy toys.

I saw a Ram postal van today and it had no logos on the back.

Back in the day the $9,995 Hyundai Accent hatchback had a -$4 dealer markup. Yup, the dealer lost $4 selling it at full sticker. With all the safety and emissions tech, plus accounting for the egos of the American car buyer and the demand for equipment, there just isn't a profit in the cheap cars.

That’s exactly what they’d do - hire independent contractors to maintain their Autonomous vehicles, much like the bike apps have people that run around and charge up the bikes (and fish them out of the river).

That’s what makes the whole reservation system bs. You reserve a vehicle, then when it’s finally time to order, you get stuck with a predatory dealer wanting to gouge you.

How does a bidet really get your butthole clean? A gentle stream of water wouldn’t seem to do much. I mean, my dishwasher violently sprays everything for 30 minutes plus, AND uses harsh detergents, but if I put in dirty dishes and let them sit a few days first, that dried on food ain’t coming off.

There can’t be autonomous driving without autonomous braking. What’s it going to take to get this right?

That’s what the transmission suppliers are for.

The entire premise of the article is just wrong (that manual transmission enthusiast want some sort of primitive agricultural experience). Yet within is the truth of it: ‘the manual-equipped G70 “lacked theater,”.’ Modern cars are powered by smooth turbo motors, but they are quiet, slow revving boat anchors for the

So Cadillac charges essentially $5k for Super Cruise, then wants $25 a month on top of that?! For a feature that in reality you’ll rarely use.

My problem with the new layout is that as you scroll down, you see the same articles posted multiple times. Same thing happens with my local newspaper’s website. I get the concept of having categories, but seeing the same articles multiple times as you scroll actually makes it harder to see other content you haven’t

Prices might be more transparent, and you might leave the dealership feeling confident that everyone else is paying the same price, but that’s not the same thing as getting a better value. Love it or hate it, the dealer model for car sales results in price competition amongst the dealerships, and that equates to

Why do you people buy these pieces of junk? Are you that desperate to burnish your cred in your group of friends? Just buy a POS Audi like a normal showoff
