Seems to be the trajectory of every social media site/app. At a certain point they go corporate, and crack down on anything controversial.

Yet another story of a citizen who wants to get into a pissing contest with a cop. So simple: get out of the car and walk back to the cop’s car and take your trespass notice, then go home. Nope. Gotta force the cop’s hand.

If it had any other name, literally any other name, the reaction would’ve been “Ford EV, meh.” And that would’ve been it. Even Ford gave their original design the “meh” and started over with the concept of a Mustang EV.

Ford is desperate to get that same sort of cool Tesla has. They are wildly misspending money to do that.

Maybe Ford has figured out the ket part of autonomous driving: the stopping. I had thought that with adaptive cruise and automated emergency braking that we had figured out how to make cars see obstructions in front of them, but Tesla obviously hasn’t. 

Toyota has a long history of overcharging for underperforming cars. And they always come up with the esoteric excuses about the subtleties of the handling or whatever, that most regular drivers would never notice.

What part of the black experience are you revering and want acceptance for? The lack of education? The crime? The poverty? The fatherless homes?

2021 is the 15th year for the IS on the Toyota N platform. So by the time the Lexus/Mazda comes along, this car will be pushing 20 years with the same chassis and engine/transmission. Only Toyota can get away with this.

I will agree that the primary function of traffic stops is now revenue, under the guise of public safety. Lightbulb infractions could be solved with cameras on the cop cars registering the plate, and a button push on the cop’s computer. A simple warning or ticket could be mailed out, or better yet, mail that $5 bulb…

What a great marketing idea! A convenience that convinces you NOT to buy their product. Smh
