So the circle around Dunham is just the same as those around Weinstein etc. They know the person is dirt, but tolerate it because there is money to be made. The only reason she is jumping ship is because it is trendy for people to “out” scumbags now.

Um, this is where the families are going wrong:

My friends works in an Amazon warehouse for about $14/hour. In the last 2 years of working he’s accumulated about $3400 in his 401k because of the matching contributions, and over $10k of stock given to him for free. He seems to have endless paid sick and personal time, and good insurance.

They are only looking to cut costs because of the pay and benefits promise to the unions. Retiree pension and medical are exploding costs for most municipalities, and it is only going to get worse unless contracts are renegotiated nationwide.

Maybe we just need union pay and benefits to be at a reasonable level. 5 times the international average for construction projects is insane.

Fresher than water with piss and shit in it

Exactly. Same here.

I pee first. Flush. Then, if I still need to, sit down to poop. Why? When I do it all at once I end up peeing first, then when the first turd drops I get a backsplash of urine up my ass. Gross. So I do it separate so any backsplash is just fresh water.

Ha! I thought the same thing. They show a crazy styled Lexus as a way to blend in, then show a square and bland Audi as a way to stand out. From who? Every other person that buys a square boring Audi. Unintentionally hilarious.

Here’s the reason why it happens: all car dealers use VIN decoding software that automatically uploads equipment information into the online store, then the dealer has someone go and take all the photos and

Why does the Crown look like a Chinese knock off of the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid?

Will driverless cars actually lower costs, since uber would then own the fleet and have to maintain all the cars? Where will Uber get the untold $billions to buy several hundred thousand of these cars?

A shop steward speaking on your behalf is the very definition of 3rd party. And you made my point since you feel the need for a union to deal with management about your “punishment,” meaning you don’t do your job properly in some way.

Right to work laws don’t negate anti-discrimination laws. That vast majority of Americans do not work in union shops, and get by just fine. If people are so bad at their jobs that they need to pay a 3rd party to protect them, then they should probably take another look at their lives.

This just serves to remind us of what a step towards becoming GM that the Scion brand was for Toyota. Created for exactly the same reason as Geo - to get people into the showroom that otherwise wouldn’t - Scion was always a random collection of weird cars, just like Geo.

I see the demand for accountability from rich/white/male. How about some accountability elsewhere as well?

There is a huge difference between conversations involving sex etc that are a part of the work product, and just allowing a frat boy, anything goes workplace. This document describes the offensive speech as “their work, scripts or roles.” Hopefully that means such language is only used as it relates to creating
