We are rushing headlong into the EV future because it is trendy, not because we have a drastic need or the capability to make EVs successful. Electricity is still largely made from fossil fuels, so most EV’s are not even saving the planet.
I like it. Way better than the fake vent look
Actual colors tend to cost more, and then, if you really get stand out color, cost you at trade in time as well.
The game of Thrones books were written years ago, and the TV show has been on for years before Trump declared his candidacy, but feel free to relate virtually EVERYTHING in you life to Trump. Feel free to maintain this Trump induced psychosis through 2020. Real America will thank you.
I do not watch Game of Thrones. I’m white...
That is NOT attractive at all. The interior looks good, though - even that tacked on touchscreen looks ok. But that body style is not good looking at all.
One thing you left out is that the internet people at the dealerships are basically forced to call you an email you that much. The dealers all use software that has a schedule of calls/emails the internet people have to follow, and a schedule for the automated emails. It’s typically a 90 timeline before they are…
This is literally how ALL commerce is done. Of course you solicit quotes from multiple dealers at get them to compete. It’s not a waste of their time. It’s their job to negotiate prices to earn sales.
Let’s face it. Most of the money that is made in commerce is made from an imbalance of information about costs and/or value. I don’t think that we are morally right when we intentional snooker people, but if someone is selling something for under it’s true value, I see nothing wrong with buying it.
The real waste is by the companies that have no access to the cars themselves. They are either hoping to sell their tech, or they will need a whole separate investment track to begin producing cars. What are Google and Apple going to do with their autonomous tech? Every automaker already has their own program. Uber…
The manufacturers would have similar overhead because there will still be the need for a repair shop and a place for people to come test drive the cars etc.
Like I said, the manufacturer creates a national ad. It would be impossible for them to include market specific information for each and every different market.
Unfortunately there is no other way for a manufacturer to run a nation lease ad. The added costs of taxes, registration, dealer fees etc vary too much from state to state.
I’m taking about price competition within the brand. If the manufacturer controls the distribution, it can set the price for it’s products. At least with the dealer model you are price shopping for a number below the manufacturer’s best incentive offer. Without the dealer competition, you’d just get whatever price the…
On the contrary. Banks definitely loan to credit challenged customers at much higher than 10% rates. In CT the rates are capped at 18%, so the banks charge loan origination fees than can run $3-4,000 on top of the 18% rates, but the people get approved. Other states have even higher interest caps on auto loans. You…
That’s what I was thinking! Too quiet, at least in this video
That’s a typical interest rate for a credit challenged customer.
Direct sales model: so you want the manufacturer to have no price competition for its models so they can just charge MSRP? Oh, ok. That’ll fix things.
Much is made of Hollywood white washing fictional source material (Ghost in the Machine as a recent example), yet you seem to be advocating “brown washing” a true story?!
