The styling is a major issue. Sports cars get their sales early in the cycle, when the styling is new. If the styling isn’t perceived as new, that’s a big problem. I honestly can’t tell you if I’ve seen a new Camaro on the road. I’d have to really stop and look at one to be able to tell.

It’s not just speed, cars and trucks have got overall capabilities far exceeding what they will ever be subjected to in real life. Amazing engineering to be sure, but wasted effort and increased costs that are passed on to the consumers just for some bragging rights.

Justin may be an immature douche, but he is right. “Fans” have no right making nasty comments about photos he posts. He was correct to call them out on it.

Free trade is great!!! So they keep telling. But free trade between radically different economies has tended to balance out the wealth between there rich and the poor country - hence manufacturing job losses in the richer country.

Love it!

Instead of calling out Tesla Model 3 depositors as kind of dummies, BMW should have framed the ads in a “while you are waiting, you could be driving this...” way. They could at least get a 3 year lease out of these people while they wait for the Model 3 to arrive.

GM is making the same mistake as Nissan with the Leaf, and Ford with the Focus Electric - assuming the goal of electric car early adopters is low cost of ownership and low cost of purchase - hence the econo car cheap look and feel of these cars. When in reality I am sure that the typical electric car buyer is above

You’re asking people who couldn’t program their VCR, who can’t operate the bluetooth in their current car to now operate an autonomous car where they will soon have the assumption that it will just magically cart them around with no input on their part. Ought to be fun.

Ford thought they needed a front wheel drive Mustang once, too. While Chevy is at it, why not a 4 door Corvette to compete with the Panamera? Lets go crazy.

I’ve never understood why every automaker except Tesla has produced only compact, cheap electric cars, as if trying to appeal to regular people. I would venture to guess the the early adopters of electric cars are all at least upper middle income people, who can afford the cars even without the tax breaks. So why not

Are they really getting stolen, or are they just being repo’d by the buy here, pay here lot they got sold from 90 days ago?

I don’t think it’s cool to pass of a 6 year old design as “new” just because you change the grill.

It’s a free game made for children. I find it hard to get worked up about it at all. Maybe the grownups that are so upset should go do grownup things.

Why must the Olympics be held in 3rd world shit holes? Some sort of affirmative action for failing states?

Why is the entire internet crapping themselves about this stupid cup holder?? You do realize that it only works if the storage bin on the left is kept empty, right?? So what is the point?

Reminds me of the Honda Element advertising, depicting the grungy mountain biker dude who sleeps in the back of the Element while looking up at the stars through the trunk skylight - when in reality they were all bought by middle aged single women with lots of cats.

Who cares? Why would Tesla park a real prototype out in front of the factory just for display? That would be a waste.

So many features today are basically useless, yet cost so much.

Makes sense since so many auto loans are 72 months.. People are getting trapped in their current cars by depreciation.

Ill never understand the logic at FCA. How can you be a full line automaker without a compact and midsize sedan? The second gas prices go up, FCA is screwed. How do they meet the CAFE standards with an all truck/SUV lineup?
