They are still trying to sell those? I read about those years ago

Movies are hugely expensive undertakings, and studio bosses are trying to maximize their returns. So those are the projects that get green lit.

A rule of thumb on car salesmen: if they let you walk out, you probably got their best price. Either that or their sales manager had a hair across his butt that day and was getting indignant about the low ball offers from customers.

I don’t think the rear seat access is the reason the 200 is struggling. The Sonata has been a huge success, so have several other cars with similar rooflines.

For $3000 you can get a 1998 Ford Contour SVT - 200hp V6, 5 speed, leather, roof, much nicer.

Yes. They always think they are being urban hipster, when in reality they are just being poor.

Pretty much what I was thinking. A new useless feature to jerk off about.

Yes, on a cold winter’s night I want to “walk” my Tesla into and out of parking spaces. Why can’t I just drive it? I am surely not parking my $100k car in a space too tight for me to open the door, so what’s the point

Exactly. People keep coming up with what they think are novel ideas that are really just retreads. Like tiny houses. Ok, you want a very small trailer based house. The have names for those. Trailers!! In trailer parks.

Austin - full of young people not familiar with the risks of co-signing a loan with their “responsible” buddies....

I love all the ads for mainstream products touting how using their product makes you unique and special somehow (like the millions of other people that use the same product).

I’ve never understood all the controls in the center armrest. So if I have to carry a 5th passenger, the 3 back seat passengers just can’t do anything? Not even the seat heaters? Makes no sense.

It didn't get much traction because it is just a show car. If there was any hint that Acura had a rwd chassis in the works, it would be a much bigger deal

There’s only 2 reasons to buy a pickup: 1. you need the capability, or 2. you want to look like a pickup kind of guy/want to swing your big dick.

Burn.......

I’m picking the Buick Envision as the most important car. Ignoring the huge hole it fills in Buick’s lineup, this will be a true mainstream test of whether buyers will purchase a Chinese built car. If they do, who knows where the industry will head in the next 20 years.

Define “all new.” I’ll go with the EcoSport, the Bronco, a new Explorer-based Aviator, and maybe the Everest. On top of that, we will see a new Escape, Explorer, Expedition and Navigator.

I will park this in the garage next to the Mazda Shinari concept from a couple years ago

It amuses me that Buick has basically adopted Oldsmobile’s “It’s not your father’s Oldsmobile” marketing campaign - to same effect it seems.

OMG, this guy is totally talking out of his ass. Drivers are “users,” the car features are “content.” He quotes made up performance numbers for his undriveable model supercar. And he seems to be solely focused on the internet connectivity of the car instead of the car itself. Who cares really if the car has 4g or 5g??
