Customer service is very important, but so is investment in the product. Saab was starved to death by GM, Lincoln was starved for years by Ford (hopefully that’s over), and while Cadillac has spent billions over the last 20 years, what they’ve ended up with has just missed the mark with the consumers.

Voice activated systems are definitely distracting. You have yo know how to speak to the system - the correct word tracks - to get the desired results. You also have to wait for the system responses, and sometimes listen to long winded options lists or instructions if you mess up your words. Only once you completely

All I read was a litany of bad decisions masquerading as bad luck. If you are that broke, why are you buying ANYTHING at the convenience, store, let alone soda and hot dogs. That $1 soda is at best 16 ounces, but you can buy a whole 2 liter at the grocery store for $.99. Same with the hot dogs, for that $2 you could

I was lucky enough to own an Ariel Atom for 2 years. It ruined me for all other “sports” cars.

The real question is why the Super Duty is so much better looking than the F150

They pass emissions test now by cheating. Here’s the question: what will the emissions test site do with the next TDI that rolls in, knowing that it cheats the test? Will they deny it a test at all, thereby probably making it unable to renew a registration, or will the test site just ignore the whole situation and let

I’ve never seen a wheel ripped off a vehicle on this test before.

I don’t know why this kid just can’t buy his clocks at the store like everyone else. I mean, we don’t have to kill animals for food anymore because we can just buy the meat at the grocery store, right?

Probably 80% of used car buyers buy based on the selling price or - even worse - on the monthly payment, doing NO research whatsoever on the car they are looking at.

I can feel the Vtec down in my plumbs

Our no accountability, no respect for authority culture at work.

Guns are already banned in many places in the US, coincidentally that same places where we have the highest murder rates. Newsflash: criminals don’t follow the laws, so banning guns only leaves a defenseless populace against illegal gun toting criminals.

I can’t believe after 300+ comments, no one pointed out the obvious:

Parallel parking is one of those cool sounding features that will be hardly used by the majority of the owners. Waste of money.

Having sold many Dodge Avengers SE’s or SXT’s to unsuspecting credit challenged customers over the years, I always felt so sad when I would come across an Avenger R/T driver, thinking “That guy actually bought that car on purpose!”

There is a simple solution to this type of behavior - allow your employees to call bullshit on the scam, and back them up when the “customer” calls the complaint line. Simple.

Chinese Buicks just make sense. If China is the biggest market, it makes sense to build them there, then just ship over what is needed for the US. Why set up factories to produce Buicks in the US for such low volumes?

CarMax once offered me $13,000 for my 2011 Sonata SE that I later got my boss at the Hyundai dealer to give me $18,500 for, so, yeah, CarMax is a bit low on their offers lol. (No, my boss didn’t hammer me on the other end, I knew the invoice, holdback, rebates, dealer cash etc on the car I ended up buying next.)

My experience is that Hyundaidealers and their sales staff DON’T WANT TO SELL the Genesis and Equus. They roll their eyes and run at the customers who come in looking at those cars, knowing that most of them will just be too conformist to actually buy one, and end up in an Audi instead. The salesmen would much rather

It is amazing to look at some of these designs and think that somewhere in a boardroom, some manager said “Yes! That’s the one! Let’s make it!”
