Your original question indicated you were asking generally. Yes, there are risks to the pregnant person trying to self-abort as well. Those risks would also factor in to any judgement about “responsibility”.

That’s likely true in most cases. But it is still a risk. If you are going to talk about a pregnant person’s “responsibility” to their fetus you have to categorize it accurately.
