I'll go the Gallic way (well, Belgian-Gallic way) and recommend the latest film of director Fabrice Du Welz, who's done Calvaire and Vinyan. It's called Alleluia and it's crazy, psychopathic fun. Dowd gave it a B (!) on his Toronto review.
No word on an American release for now, but keep an eye on it, maybe on VOD.
