Adrien Brody as Dali was one of the highlight of the movie. And I liked the way Man Ray isn't impressed at all by what happens to Wilson. "So yeah, you come from the future. No big deal". That's surrealism right there !

Taylor-Johnson was particularly bland indeed… And I too hoped the human aspect would be better handled…

Overall it was a pretty great weekend pop-culture-wise. Three movies at the theater and a big concert in 2 days : pretty much a record for me. Of course, I was in Paris for the whole weekend, so I had to make it big.

I fricking loved The Homesman ! Great directorial return for Tommy Lee Jones.

Not an expert on Malick, but when it comes to Lynch, I think he's in the same category as the Coens, IF you are willing, like me, to forgive his Dune, that sucks mainly because of studio meddling. That's a big "if" for some people, I know…

I didn't know Intolerable Cruelty and O Brother are supposed to be parts of a trilogy. Considering they're the only two films of the Coen brothers that I don't like, that doesn't bode well for that one !
