Yep. Hence my reply, 3 minutes before you posted, acknowledging that fact.
Ah, I missed that. Still a fitting punishment (costing them a win), and I hope that the “fine, we’ll make it an away game” is kept on the table for future infractions.
So the Yeovil Town racist fans cost their team a win and the rematch will be an away game? PERFECT. This is how you incentivize everyone in the stadium to shut these racists the fuck up.
Yeah, but the San Luis fans were fighting THE RIGHT WAY.
I don’t get the gripe that it obscures things away from the ball. If anything, SkyCam allows you to see the formations of both the offense and defense much more clearly. It only obscures it if it’s zooming around like this...and you don’t have to do that. The Madden view is explicitly better for seeing the whole field…
+1 “X= Red Sox”
The one potential source of entertainment in this game was sacrificed to the football gods. Shit like this is the only thing that can make me wish for an increase in superstition in the general populous.
Also possible: public outcry tends to favor complaints over compliments. When they juice the ball, the people who don’t like that (the “purists”) complain about it more than the people who like it (the “long ball enthusiasts”) express excitement. Thus, what you tend to see is the complaints.
Or because that field has caused more injuries to humans than actual bear traps?
🙄
Wow, it’s like talking to a buzzword regurgitation machine. “Everyone does it!” “Tirggered”! “Shifted goalposts!”
Imagine fans who can criticize their own teams AND other teams. Shocking I know.
“Ur mad” says man who has been crying for two days about his baseball team being very lightly poked fun of.
I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that someone stanning for the Yankees doesn’t really understand the concept of “not saying anything”.
1. Again, you’re the one who has cried for literal hours about the fact that, on a story about the Astros-Yankees game, I made a joke about the Yankees, and didn’t talk about some other team.
No, when you say stupid shit like “But it’s LOL to point out Yankee players when every team has players that do it”, I’m going to point out how stupid that argument is. For someone whinging about others being triggered, you’ve posted three responses to what was a fairly minor joke at the Yankees expense, and the…
“They did it toooooooo” is still the retort of a child. Because anyone more advanced than a child would recognize that if you could avoid having to talk about something because someone else is doing it, you could never talk about that thing at all, with relation to anyone. So it’s pretty freaking stupid.
“They did it toooooooo” is the retort of a five year old. Players who lie to umps to change the game suck. On any team, at any time. Especially when there are a shot load of cameras around that will prove they lied.
Maybe the Jaguars will knit them a nice sweater and toss it in with the trade.
