oh, SCE Europe, you're still living under David Lynch's influence?

The logo reeks of Flower

@hazelnut1112: yeah Sony's TGS 2010 conference seemed to be all about Japan, totally rejecting the globalization notions that have been going around with everyone else.

@N-Robes: To be fair, you'd be hard-pressed to find ANYWHERE on the Internet that wouldn't produce quite a lot of ignorant comments about anything.

So uh. Where's our "The Week in Games"?

But man, there's an odd beauty in symmetry. And it turned out to be why Noby Noby Boy was only on PS3.

@Fexe: The idea was to keep the DualShock 2's familiar shape, but add in actual triggers instead of clumsy analog buttons.

Granted Treyarch is spared from developing an engine for their CoD games, but I'm interested in seeing where things go from here if Black Ops turns out to have bested IW's MW2. Theses two studios haven't exactly been on friendly terms since Call of Duty 3, like siblings in the Activision household.

@warpwhistle: So far it's always been Infinity Ward developing an engine (based on idTech3 each time, by the way), and then Treyarch is given the engine for their CoD game. In the past, Treyarch has tweaked it for certain visual effects and color palettes, and that looks to be the case here as well.

@Bader Waleed: It's not too hard. You just need to be careful/mindful in your every motion and decision.

@laser beams: Really as I think about this, these damn things came out over 5 years ago. The PSP value pack from the launch cost $250.

Sell these portable things at $99 if you really need to keep them alive in the face of their impending successors.

Hard to believe it's the same developer.

@Gameslaya: The actual idea behind the "360" appendage was that the experience of using the console would "Revolve around you". But yes, it was also an intention to change the image of the Xbox brand with more elegant/refined/tame designs and logotypes.

Wait, is this supposed to surprise anyone?
