@RomanForest: About $60m, which they can easily make back still.

Oh fucking boy. Just bust Yamauchi. Someone needs to take this game out of his hands at this point. If it's up to him, it will never be released.

I'm certain Minecraft is an incredible, engrossing game. And that is why I can never allow myself to play it. This is for my own safety and health.

@reuniteireland: I've got a jolly feeling I'll be ruining just about nothing for the 20 million who do pay.

I guess homogenization is the message.

@G1bblets: "Enslaved ran pretty damn well on it"

@RunningWildVidya: Demon's Souls isn't even a JRPG. It's an ARPG, like 3D Zelda games.

@OTCIXS: But what if it was a PS2?

@DaRealCaboose: who thought Call of Duty was going to be pushing story-telling's capabilities in the interactive medium?

@Sunwind: Using an enhanced version of an engine created in 1999.

Lack of innovation can hit hard there too

@bakagaijin: the beta = demo thing has been incited by devs/publishers. The problem is half the time they actually are just demos branded as beta to add that desirability (psychological effect that may begin to lose it's power if this continues).

@arionfrost: People still play Bad Company 1 on PS3 (it's that hellspawned 10k kills trophy I bet).

@RockyRan: Kotaku's of course going to keep running stories on it because I believe they were the first to actually mention the significance of Taliban presence, and actually criticized Danger Close/DICE for, basically, not making a big deal of it, since it would generate such great press (free advertising).
