I think they need to come up with a better system to regulate cars. I mean whilst 50mpg would mean lower fuel costs, it usually trades off with higher repair and maintenance costs.

Review - Lotus Evora - Carbuyer.co.uk - “The Evora’s engine is sourced from Toyota, so reliability shouldn’t be much of an issue.”
Lexus and Toyota’s problem is their styling isn’t immediately likeable. Which is bad, because it doesn’t sell new cars.
I expect EVs to really take off when Toyota does one. They have a lot of potential with their upcoming solid state battery tech and whilst they don’t usually do exciting, they always do practical.
I think you can make a tire go to 300mph easily these days. The problem might be to do so without sacrificing low speed grip and track ability. Current tires probably do well with a 0-250mph performance range and stretching that without losing performance somewhere is the problem.
I’m glad they’re done with all this gimmicky hybrid non-sense.

Anything milky is probably the second worst thing you can spill on carpet. The worst - Coconut Water. Nothing stinks like coconut water soaked fabric.
Titanium? Titanium everything?
The radiator design on this car will be interesting. There will definitely be space compromises. Especially given the fact that producing 5000hp will take alot of gas, there will probably be a pretty gigantic fuel tank.
I suspect this car will only make peak power under certain conditions. Like you can only use it for 7 seconds on a dragstrip and the engine needs to cooled for 5 minutes. Or it will only engage after you pass 70mph out of a special dragstrip mode because you can’t put down that power on street tires anyway.
Low speed…
Carbon fiber is plastic, but also a cutting edge material. Manufacturers took that hype and managed to substitute more expensive interior trim with cheap plastic and charge more for it. Kudos to their opportunism, but that stuff hasn’t aged well on the used car market.
It depends on the wheel etc. Some wheel shapes are generally weaker and u see them break easier.
If you’re buying a cheap tire, just buy them wider. Very often, a cheap tire manufacturer’s version of 215mm wide is about 10mm narrower than a company like Goodyear’s. If you could buy them a little wider than your stock set too, go for it.
Eagle F1's are pretty good when new. Extremely grippy and quiet.
I think it’s the looks. It’s meh. It’s really easy to forget about. Even the leaf’s ugliness has a little charm to it.
Reasons i bought GTA V on ps3 - to play the game and it just came out
It makes sense. $30 on extra ram, $70 on extra gpu power. CPU is probably 14nm fabbed amd jaguar, which would save cost. A ps4 pro is basically an rx 470 inside and the scorpio is basically an rx 580, which cost about 50 dollars in between. That’s just compared on flops, Im not sure about compute units etc.
A lot of these new cars seem like they’d be very expensive to repair when they get 10+ years old. RIP beater cars.
PC gaming is basically dead. Unless you’re into MOBAs and RTS games, your online gaming experience is handicapped just based on poor sales.
Origin, Steam, Uplay, XBL, Battle.net, Rockstar Social etc fragment things so badly that it’s just a mess that turns away people from PC gaming on the whole.
