Yes, as cool as a huge fight scene might’ve been, we still got the duct tape to the face and their connection was fantastic. Loved the detail that Helena tapes her weapons on so she can keep fighting even if she can’t keep gripping. Very Helena.

Well apparently my #someonesaveKrystal worked this week! But did anyone ever explain to her what was happening? And did she ever leave Dyad?
Is Coady dead or is she in custody? I didn’t see Ferdinand killed her. Speaking of Ferdinand, his turnaround was hilarious indeed. “I don’t know what the hell is going on.” “Which makes us new BFFs.” And what is the worm supposed to be/do?
Throw every Emmy at Tatiana, give them all to her NOW.
He’s still pretty cool, though - I loved his line “I may be a bitch, but I’m Allison’s bitch”. The guy knows he’s not the traditional head of his family, and he doesn’t give a damn.
Helena laughing hysterically at Donnie’s imitation of her accent had me laughing right along with her. God I love Tatiana Maslany.
There are two kinds of clones in Orphan Black: Clones who are self-aware and those who are “naive.” Obviously, our…
As I mentioned, the fluidity Jenkins and Pope appear to have had in crossing between Wayward Pines and the rest of the world pretty much blew up my pet suspended animation theory (barring that unlikely disjointed narrative thing I mentioned, and even then...serious stretch, yo).
I find it all kinds of creepy that at…
Does anyone else think the high five routine is some kind of trigger to reinforce a hypnotic suggestion? Also is what Dr Jenkins said about cross breeding pines supposed to be a clue to what is going on?
Now the trick is how to stray from the rule, and STILL keep a captive audience. A good filmmaker can pull your eye to whatever part of the screen he/she wants. You hold on something for a few seconds, and then you notice some important detail off to the side. When the next cut comes, the focus is on the spot that…
That is a fair point. They didn’t say that the protein was already there in Cosima, but given what we know about Castor and Leda’s respective illnesses, it makes sense that she had it already, rather than her contracting it from Seth.
Thanks. For some reason it didn’t seem all that clear during the episode if the protein was new in her system or something already there.
Is it possible Cosima picked up the protein from performing the autopsy from Seth? I’m sure she took every precaution but you never know.
the movie was designed like a “silent” picture so really needed no script at all. the bluray will have a black and white version with just the musical soundtrack playing. can’t wait to watch it :)
It's still the rule of thirds. You're just concentrating on the center third.
If nothing else comes from this film except to kill or at least severely curtail shaky cam and blurred action shots, it will have quite possibly saved humanity. I’m a million percent not exaggerating.
This was one of the most eloquent recaps of Orphan Black i’ve read. Good job!
Seems to me the easiest way to make them infertile would be to engineer incomplete vas deferens.
The thought of some hot-buttered Helena kept me warm for the night.
It’s worth watching! I watched it for the first time last year, and all the 90’s campiness is definitely part of the charm. Twin Peaks invented the 90’s camp we all either love or hate. I love it (all the way through season two), although I understand why it's so polarizing...The X-Files learned a lot from Twin Peaks.
