Sean Astin! He was a Goonie AND a Hobbit....do not debate me on this

She does an excellent job.
She does an excellent job....she does NOT act Sandra Bullocky AT ALL.
Seriously, this role will endear here to a new batch of sci-fi fans. She played the roll perfectly.
It isn't cheesy diasaster porn...without giving too much away, I will say it seems very realistic. It's basically one accident that spawns a chain reaction. It is an accident that the Cuaron's researched deeply....and one that could actually happen.
I had a chance to see this at a film festival laast weekend. I went into it not even knowing who Jodorwosky is and never having read Dune.... It is an amazingly fun documentary!
I had a chance to see this over the weekend. This movie is amazing.
The special effects are ground-breaking.
Animation is one of my favorite genres. I have the utmost respect for animators of every sort, and I can agree with your point....but I still want to know why Turbo cost about TWICE as much as DM2?
That's what confuses me. Why does CGI cost so much?
Explain to me why Despicable Me 2 cost HALF as much as Turbo?
I think Family Guy addressed this in their Empire Strikes Back parody...sorry I couldn't find a clip
I think I have something in both of my eyes.
It's a hundred and six miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.... It may not be classic sci-fi, but I consider it a modern fable.
Samwise Gamgee is one of my absolute favorite fictional characters.
Completely selfless and undeniably brave. He was willing to fight Strider with his bare hands.
To me, he is the true hero of LOTR. Frodo would have failed without his companionship.
I love this guy! Christopher is a very believable alien. This was an excellent movie.
"Zaphod's just this guy, you know?"
Tim Burton's Batman. I watched HALF of in a few weeks ago, I was getting the cringe-sweats too badly to finish watching it.
And...
You know, I can kinda see your point. I still really like him, and I listen to his podcast....but somebody needs to remind him that he is not a a real scientist.
He deserves to die. I am still going to be very sad when it does.
