Acutally, I’ve worked (and still work) in Software Quality Assurance for over 20 years (3 of which in the game industry). So ya, I know something about bugs and how to prevent and anticipate them. This shit was sloppy and totally foreseeable.

As a coder my first thought was that they may be approaching the limits of what they can store in a given variable type in the code, or are approaching floating point precision issues. You can only reliably process numbers so large in a 32-bit application.

From the sound of it, it’s about damn time for World of Warcraft 2.  Start from the ground-up.

Now If only they could fix the other issues brought with 8.0, like class in-balance, Azerithe armor, the lack of class set gear, Teldrassil burning down...so-on, so-on

I propose we have a new phrase for jumping the shark.

I’ve wondered about it/that/those myself, and why nobody is claiming them, and I think it’s because of the implication that those are either objects, or less than human.

First off, I really appreciate your transparency on the subject. Sharing details like that about oneself is the key to healing, as long as you are sharing it in a loving environment.  It’s very sad that you are suffering so much, and I truly hope that you find a good release for your suffering.  I wish I had more to

This is the wrongest of takes.

At this point, racism is perpetuated (not promoted) more by people who claim to fight it. As they say, if all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail. When your only contribution to society is crying “racism” everywhere, you eventually run out of actual racist stuff and branch out into other things that you

“a stereotype of middle class white women in America who feel over entitled about every little thing, and if some aspect of their life is wrong in a ‘shopping’ setting, they’ll always make some ridiculous complaint and ask to speak to managers for not having their way, and/or feel attacked when corrected.”

I just re-read the whole piece and I am scratching my head even more as to why she felt compelled to waste everyone’s time when the gist of this piece is simply humblebrag about her dad and her family without even realizing the savior element tied to it. Her dad barely even talks about his work that saved, in part,

But they don’t come here for the people. They don’t really come here for the land. That’s something that really bothers me. They got off the plane, get in the rental car, drive around, consume, consume, consume, then they take off. And they don’t do anything to recognize the people who have lived here and who still

I stopped reading at “At the same time that Santa Fe and Taos undergo a massive and perhaps irreversible gentrification process.” FFS, Taos is a goddamned ski resort and has been an artist colony since 1899. Georgia O’Keeffe moved to Santa Fe in 1984. Both these places were gentrified before this person was even born.

It takes me weeks back in Brooklyn to recover.

This is just a dumb dad joke. It’s not funny but it’s not offensive, either.

Sorry but Velcro plus laces the you have it right

I find it pretty uplifiting that you believe society will survive that long. Keep that hope alive, man!

I have no idea how I’m going to explain President Trump and the Paul Brothers to my grandchildren.

Time to step up Twitch and prove that your new Guidelines are more than just pretty words on paper.
