Sooo what I’m taking away from this is that using a pen name from an alternate culture is only ok if you’re brown enough. If you’re too beige then gtfo.

I dunno how I feel about the centerpiece of this short being Tracer going straight to the kitchen to bake a cake. Especially coming from the studio who completely spayed the one matriarchal society in their collected canon.

There was nothing faithful about their portrayal of either Negasonic Teenage Warhead or Domino.

They they just need to start a new service called “Steamy Games” already.

Because a can of body paint is SO expensive.

Except Domino is a regular tag-along with the more dangerous Marvel (anti)heroes including many appearances on X-force. Given the effort for accuracy in the last movie I have to believe that they knew that going into this one and Domino was the intended character all along.

Personality, costume and her natural look. In the comics Domino’s chalk white skin and black spot aren’t makeup. She was a mutant lab rat who ended up that way. If they wanted a ‘black’ Domino all they had to do was invert it and make her jet black with a chalk white eye spot.

In the comics Domino has always been very dour, cynical and reserved. Misty Knight on the other hand is known for her aggressive sass.

I could accept DP2's Domino if they actually committed to the character painted her jet black with a bone white eye patch and gave her short hair. I mean shit, her dynamic appearance is like 90% of her character in the comics.

If they were gonna make ‘Domino’ look and act like Misty Knight why not just have Misty Knight in the movie? I mean really.
