People buy a PC (and a MAC is just a PC with OSX) for the work. Because that is what you do with a PC most of the time. And sometimes they want to play something.

the problem is what they just used a wrapper. That is not really a port. It is the same Windows code which will be translated in realtime. Like .net or the java runtime(ok not so slow like java). Of course you lose performance.
