Through the whole series especially later seasons I struggled to figure out what the writers were trying to say. It didn’t seem to have core concept. Then I found out a quote from David Benioff: “themes are for eighth-grade book reports.”

The direction of the whole series makes a lot more sense now.

I feel like Emilia gets way too much shit for her acting. It was shaky earlier season, but got better as she went along (much like Sophie Turner). She’s giving one of the best performances this season.

Most of this could be fixed by having it be Jeyne Poole instead of Sansa. I guess they had to condense the storylines.
