Winter Solider, GotG, Civil War, Infinity War, and Black Panther are all good. Some even better than IM3, but I agree. The Mandarin twist was maybe the boldest thing Marvel has done story-wise. IMO IM3 was a more searing indictment of the military industrial process than Winter Soldier was.

This movie got a lot a crap from the Mandarin twist, but people forget Mandarin always kinda sucked as a character.  He had about one good story (Extremis).

I wanna see the film version of continuity changing event like Crisis.

The grenade scene is one of the best scenes in the MCU. It worked doubly because of the build up and with Jones and Tucci.

I always though Ult. Cap was interesting by making Steve truly a man out of time.  Though I certainly wouldn’t want that to be THE CAP.

As someone who’s highly critical of post-book episodes and D&D in general, I agree.

Baelor was an inside job.

First was good, second was lazy.

Totally agree about the messy writing.  Also agree that it was amazingly well done.  The part where Ramsay’s men close on Jon’s is harrowing.
