Isn’t this a bit much? If every character in animation needs to be played by someone of their respective ethnicity, then I guess we have to recast Bart and Lisa as well?

I don’t care that she violated laws, and I don’t really care what her intent was. I’m not a mind reader. She contributed to transparency and a greater understanding of what actions the government was undertaking. Are you a diplomat who was embarrassed by what she leaked?
Agreed that this is stupid and unnecessary. It’s as if they were trying to find controversial things where they don’t exist so they can very publicly fix them and show how sensitive they are.
For anyone who actually knows Magic cards, none of the card themselves are racist. There are 5 colors; white, blue, black, red and green. Some cards affect all creatures and/or permanent of any one of those colors, and there is no emphasis on destroying “blacks” more than any of the other 4 colors. The black element…
I can understand the blue card.
cancel culture is insane
These cards are nearly all from 1993 and 1994 printings. 20K unique cards in the game and they managed to scrounge up seven from ages ago (that aren’t even played by anyone anymore) to prove to everyone how woke they are.
These cards seem like silly things to get upset with Wizards over. I’d wager that all of ZERO of the people there currently were there two decades ago when these cards were printed. The cards in question had largely faded into obscurity, and were never played in a tournament setting so banning them has zero impact on…
So, because someone is an asshole the outdoors are racist and deadly?
I can fart for miles and miles. What can I say? It’s a talent.
I’m guessing you’re happy enough with your Chinese phone, laptop and so on though?
He exposed a ton of government and corporate crimes and unethical actions, allowing the public to know what was being done to them, or in their name without their consent or knowledge.
He leaked information that exposed the bad actions of a government and allowed the public to hold them to account, at great personal risk. Without his actions things would be being done in the name of US citizens, terrible things, without their consent or knowledge.
History will judge him a hero, it takes willful blindness to the sins of your country to think anything else.
Absolutely correct, but with Assange in prison, not sure how he would be able to meaningfully contribute
Given the mountain of evidence and testimony on record already available from Manning’s previous trials, there’s no reason to compel her participation either. I seriously doubt she has anything substantial to add that hasn’t already been put on record.
Assange is currently detained in the UK after he evaded bail over an unrelated, since-dropped rape investigation in Sweden and held out for years in the Ecuadorean embassy in London. The U.S. is seeking his extradition on 18 charges including publishing classified information and conspiracy to commit computer…
Sure not in the past, but in the modern political era threatening people with ominous consequences (often on twitter) is the norm. Not saying that’s a good thing.
Yeah, how with zero proof, could it be more obvious!
Hey remember when bloomberg published a completely bullshit article about spying chinese microchips that was most likely a plant by US intelligence to damage trust in chinese companies?
