I have a sensitivity to wheat. I've had it my whole life. If I eat too much wheat, my arms break out in red bumps. Two of my sisters are affected the same way. I don't know if it's the wheat or the gluten in the wheat that causes the problem, but when I eat gluten-free foods (that never have wheat in them!) I am fine.

I thought Kanye was really good. I don't mind his antics because I don't think celebrity behavior is all that important, but his music is good.

Urv, you sound like a kind, interesting, rational person. It also struck me as very interesting about the telepathy. I mean yes, the guy could be delusional, or maybe he is just very, very honest and is telling the story without regard for how crazy it sounds.

Yas! I've worked restaurants, bars, hotel room service, banquets, coffeehouses and conventions. The only people I saw messing with people's food were total jerks. Like the meth-head fry cook, or the waiter with an anger problem. Most of the normal waitstaff would never, ever touch your food. Maybe they might short

But why? why do you have a problem with someone shaming a person for shameful behavior? Why should only the customer be able to dish out the grief? I like it when a stupid, rude customer gets what's coming to them. And bad tipping is rude.

Ok, so I just went on a small exploratory google rabbit-hole on the IRS and tipping. When I was a waiter, the restaurant told us that they have to declare each waiter's sales and the amount of tips at the end of the night. They said that if the amount of tips was below 10% of sales that would produce a red flag with

In America, waiters have to pay taxes on 10% of their sales. So for instance, if your bill was $100, the waiter has to pay taxes on $10 of income, because the government assumes that they made AT LEAST a 10% tip. So by giving them less than 10%, the poor waiter is paying income tax on money they never received. Yes,

I had the same thought, and felt bad for the poor old guy, even as I was feeling bad for the musicians. Getting old sucks.

I would tell your friend, "hey I'm going to buy my own drinks from now on, cause you don't tip enough and I'm afraid of what they're going to start doing to YOUR drinks."

Is he single? He sounds nice.

I love Madeline in that movie.

As an ardent lover of The Cure, back in the day, I approve this message.

Ouch.

But he already turned into Robert Smith.

"These researchers prolly don't know how to conduct a study, because I think girls aren't as good at math, and deserve lower scores." - That's how you sound to me, Fauxcused.

I would love to believe this is true, but it sounds like garbage. And my grandmother was one of the "computers" in the 1940's. They were all women because men were off fighting in the war - not because women were better at computations.

Omg, this is my story, too! In high school they ran out of science and math classes to teach me by my senior year and I had to do two Independent Study classes on my own. I had the highest scores and was always sent to regional testing to compete for my school in Science. And then I went to college - where I was

"who loves BOC and tries to tip well"

No, I disagree! I think he means that he is literally worried that homosexuals aren't producing children. He also probably stays up at night worrying that the immigrant Catholics are having too many anchor babies. He's a complicated man.

Every time I see Gillian Anderson onscreen, I think, "Is she the most beautiful woman I've ever seen?". And I'm asking myself this seriously, in a kind of wonder. Girl is hot shit. And I'm a straight woman. Well, straight-ish.
