Exactly. Ten years is a LONG TIME. That relationship absolutely played a role in forming who she is today. There’s no making that previous marriage disappear. It happened. Deal with it.
If you think you’re able to “move on” from a significant other dying without getting rid of mementos, then there is no reason why couldn’t do the exact same thing if the relationship died and not the person.
His movies with her were basically the good ones.
Adam Sandler used to be funny and used to make great movies. Wedding singer and 50 first dates are perfection!
Like many people, I first saw her as a precocious six-year-old in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Now I have learned that she’s 43 and I want to die.
I kind of love Music and Lyrics. Like sometimes I go listen to “Way Back Into Love” on YouTube. In fact I’m going to go do it right now. Don’t judge me.
I am kind of loving this give-no-fucks-earth-mama look Drew has going on here.
Hahhahaha! Cute....close. But wasn’t Edgar Ramirez just spectacular in the role? Not only does he look frighteningly like Gianni, but he has Versace’s walk, tilt of the head, use of the arms, down pat. I met Gianni. Ramirez’s portrayal is uncanny.
He’s that shitty trifecta of arrogant, dismissive and thin-skinned.
i enjoyed this journey, aimee.
What you describe in terms of the nuns being forced out simply isn’t what happened. They left, made a [very questionable] sale of the property, and then the nominal owner took over the place (with big plans complicated by a) the problems with the sale and b) general money problems).
The nuns don’t have a plight. They weren’t living there anymore anyway. If they’ve got issues with their retirement planning, that’s nothing in which Katy Perry should have to involve herself.
You’re missing nothing. I’m actually finding it...depressing that Jezebel is still running with this narrative after most other websites, including some not so female friendly ones, have cleared it up.
Not a Katy Perry fan, but she seems to be being villainized for something that is exclusively the fault of the archdiocese (unless I’m missing something). Perry is just trying to buy a property that was apparently on sale, the dispute of who owns the property is really not on her.
In October, a 6-year-old named Naomi was digging a hole instead of watching her sister’s soccer game in Bend,…
I’ve always secretly wondered if people who use poor grammar/spelling/capitalization in professional emails were being intentionally disrespectful but I always chalked it up to my own paranoia. Seeing it verbalized like this is just...breathtaking.
The shittiest kidnap van I’ve ever seen was doing laps around GDC all today. I guess if you want to kidnap kids you spray-paint “Free Candy” on the van but this is what you do if you want to lure in tech bros? When it fills up do they drive them straight to Burning Man?
Jesus, Che is petty. In one of the first emails referenced, he wrote without capitalization, then added a post-script: “my refusal to capitalize or correct the grammar of my language of this message is a deliberate informality and disrespect.” Sounds like a better educated Trump.
I think it can be both a cash grab and a way to breath new life into older titles to remaster them. In my case there are titles I missed last gen that I’d like to play and getting remasters to enjoy them in a better presentation.
