I never understood why the US doesnt like vans. Trucks just seem impractical with the open bed. Everything you carry has to be weatherproof. Something like a Ford Transit seems to be able to do everything a truck does, but better, except for carrying tall items that wouldnt fit in a van.

Over the past 40 or so years, our country has deferred maintenance on the road system because taxes bad, gas must be cheap and freedom.
